IMDA Code for Fun Programme
Nullspace Robotics is appointed by Info-communications Media Development Authority of Singapore (IMDA) to conduct Code for Fun programme courses for 2017 to 2018. Code for Fun is a joint programme by IMDA and MOE to offer computational thinking and coding classes to all MOE primary and secondary schools.

Microcontroller Track - Block Based Programming
Code for Fun Student Training comes with a total training package of 20 hours to be completed over 2 years. Each course level consists of 10 training hours, with approximately 6 hours on programming and 4 hours on hardware.
- + Basic - Students 7 to 9 years old
- + Intermediate - Students 10 to 12 years old
- + Advanced - Students 13 to 15 years old
Schools need to conduct at least 12 hours of Code for Fun teacher training over a period of 2 years. Teacher training is fully subsidised by IMDA. Each course level consists of 6 training hours, with approximately 4 hours on programming and 2 hours on hardware.
- + Basic - Non-ICT teachers or teachers without prior experience
- + Intermediate - ICT teachers or teachers who have completed basic level
Hardware and Software Requirements
Arduino is an open sourced electronics platform based on easy to use hardware and software. It is intended for any making interactive projects. For this course, we will be supplying schools with Arduino kits that comes with an Arduino compatible microcontroller and standard electronics components.
Scratch for Arduino (S4A) is a free software that allows for programming on the Arduino microcontroller using the same Scratch graphical programming interface.
